Hijrah to Madinah

The Prophet saws did Hijrah to Medinah in 622 AD because of persecution and because he was going to be assassinated.

Makkah had become an unsafe place to stay and the Prophet SAW had heard about a plot to assassinate him.  As a result, he decided to migrate to Madinah with his friend Abu Bakr Siddiq.

There is a story where the spiders helped to protect the Messenger of Allah by spinning a web so it seemed unbroken to those that were trying to chase the Prophet pbuh and Abu Bakr Siddiq RA.
